Chhattisgarh State Sports Awards For The Year 2009-10

Raipur, May 27, 2009 - Chhattisgarh State annually felicitate by awards the state players on National Sports Day on 29 August. Regarding this matter, for State Sports Awards for the year 2009-10 the recommendations have been invited through the state sports associations by the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare Chhattisgarh upto 30 June 2009 in the format prescribed.

रायपुर, 27 मई 2009 - राज्य शासन द्वारा प्रतिवर्ष राष्ट्रीय खेल दिवस 29 अगस्त पर प्रदेश के खिलाड़ियों को विभिन्न खेल अलंकरणों से सम्मानित किया जाता है। इसी सिलसिले में खेल एवं युवा कल्याण विभाग द्वारा वर्ष 2009-10 के राज्य खेल पुरस्कारों के लिए 30 जून 2009 तक निर्धारित प्रारूप में राज्य खेल संघों के माध्यम से अनुशंसाएं आमंत्रित की गई हैं।

यह खेल अलंकरण खिलाड़ियों द्वारा उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करते हुए विशिष्ट उपलब्धि प्राप्त करने पर दिया जाता है। खेल अलंकरण के अंतर्गत खिलाड़ियों को शहीद राजीव पाण्डेय पुरस्कार, शहीद कौशल यादव तथा शहीद पंकज विक्रम पुरस्कार दिए जाते हैं। इसी प्रकार विभिन्न खेलों के प्रशिक्षकों और निर्णायकों के लिए वीर हनुमान सिंह अलंकरण प्रतिवर्ष दिया जाता है। ऐसे खिलाड़ियों, जिन्होंने सक्रिय खेल जीवन के पश्चात विभिन्न खेलों के विकास के लिए निरन्तर कार्य किया है। उन्हें खेल विभूति सम्मान प्रदान किया जाता है।

खेल एवं युवा कल्याण विभाग के अधिकारियों ने आज यहां बताया कि खेल अलंकरण के अंतर्गत सीनियर वर्ग के ऐसे खिलाड़ियों जिन्होंने राष्ट्रीय चैम्पियनशिप या राष्ट्रीय खेलों में कोई पदक प्राप्त किया है या अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिताओं में देश का प्रतिनिधित्व किया हो, उनके लिए शहीद राजीव पाण्डेय पुरस्कार योजना शुरू की गई है। इसके अंतर्गत दो लाख 25 हजार रूपए के पांच पुरस्कार दिए जाते हैं। इसी प्रकार जूनियर वर्ग के ऐसे खिलाड़ियों, जिन्होंने राष्ट्रीय चैम्पियनशिप में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन किया हो, उनको शहीद कौशल यादव पुरस्कार दिया जाता है। शहीद कौशल यादव पुरस्कार के अंतर्गत एक लाख रूपए के पांच पुरस्कार प्रतिवर्ष दिए जाते हैं। प्रशिक्षकों तथा निर्णायकों को वीर हनुमान सिंह पुरस्कार के अंतर्गत एक लाख रूपए के दो पुरस्कार तथा खेल विभूति सम्मान एवं शहीद पंकज विक्रम पुरस्कार के अंतर्गत 25 हजार रूपए के नगद पुरस्कार प्रदान किए जाते हैं। खेल विभूति सम्मान के लिए राज्य के ऐसे खिलाड़ियों या प्रशिक्षकों या खेल से जुड़े ऐसे व्यक्तियों जिन्होंने अपने सक्रिय खेल जीवन तथा इसके पश्चात खेलों के विकास के लिए खेल संगठनों, खेल आयोजनों, खेल साहित्य सृजन एवं खेल प्रशिक्षण के क्षेत्र में निरन्तर सेवा प्रदान करते हुए कार्य किया है, उन्हें उनकी उत्कृष्ट खेल सेवाओं के लिए खेल विभूति सम्मान दिया जाता है। सभी अलंकरणों में नगद राशि के अतिरिक्त विजेताओं को सम्मानपत्र, अलंकरण फलक, ब्लेजर एवं टाई प्रदाय किए जाते हैं।

खेल एवं युवा कल्याण विभाग द्वारा वर्ष 2009-10 के राज्य खेल पुरस्कारों के लिए खिलाड़ी, प्रशिक्षक, निर्णायक एवं खेलों के विकास से जुड़े अन्य व्यक्ति निर्धारित प्रारूप में 30 जून 2009 तक संबंधित जिलों के पुलिस अधीक्षक कार्यालयों की खेल शाखाओं में आवेदन जमा कर सकते हैं। इसी प्रकार 30 जून 2009 तक ही संचालनालय खेल एवं युवा कल्याण, खेल भवन रायपुर में राज्य खेल संघों के माध्यम से भी अनुशंसाएं आमंत्रित की गई हैं।

Chhattisgarh Again Champion In Forest Games

All India Forest Games competition, Chhattisgarh champion this time also – With 61 medals the players prove superiority throughout the country - Mr. A.J. Minj declared the best player -
Raipur, Chhattisgarh - Chhattisgarh is the champion in All India Forest Sports competition in this year 2008 again. In the seventeenth Chhattisgarh Forest competition held in Chandigarh frm 03 Dec to 07 December, players won 61 medals which include 31 gold, 15 silver and 15 bronze medals. Chhattisgarh player A.J. Minj won four gold and two bronze medals with the tournament's best player title. From Chhattisgarh 139 players attended the competition.

Mr. Devendra Singh, Chhattisgarh's team manager told that 36 teams of the country participated in the competition. Madhya Pradesh received second place in it. Mr Singh told that Chhattisgarh's Sangeeta Rajgopalan won six medals in tennis and Badminton which include five gold and a silver medal. Mr. Satyprkash Masih won three gold in the weightlifting, Shri Sanjay Shukla three gold in tennis, Mr Alok Tiwari three gold in tennis, Runner Sukhnandan Dhruve three Gold, Mr. Tejasinh Sahu three Gold in weightlifting and Shri Kenimechyo won two gold medals tennis. In addition, there are other players also won medals. Chhattisgarh has the distinction of becoming the champion of the competition in last year in 2007 also.

Forest Games News in Hindi अखिल भारतीय वन खेल प्रतियोगिता में छत्तीसगढ़ इस बार भी चैम्पियन - 61 पदकों के साथ खिलाड़ियों ने पूरे देश में श्रेष्ठता साबित की - श्री ए.जे. मिंज सर्वश्रेष्ठ खिलाड़ी घोषित - रायपुर, छत्तीसगढ़ - अखिल भारतीय वन खेल प्रतियोगिता में छत्तीसगढ़ वर्ष 2008 में भी चैम्पियन बना है। तीन से सात दिसम्बर तक चंडीगढ़ में आयोजित सत्रहवीं वन खेल प्रतियोगिता में छत्तीसगढ़ के खिलाड़ियों ने 61 पदक जीते इनमें 31 स्वर्ण,15 रजत और15 कांस्य पदक शामिल हैं। छत्तीसगढ़ के खिलाड़ी श्री ए. जे. मिंज ने चार स्वर्ण तथा दो कांस्य पदक के साथ टूर्नामेंट के सर्वश्रेष्ठ खिलाड़ी का खिताब जीता । इस प्रतियोगिता में छत्तीसगढ़ के 139 खिलाड़ियों ने भाग लिया।

छत्तीसगढ़ के टीम मैनेजर श्री देवेन्द्र सिंह ने बताया कि प्रतियोगिता में देश के 36 टीमों ने भाग लिया। इसमें मध्यप्रदेश को दूसरा स्थान प्राप्त हुआ। श्री सिंह ने बताया कि छत्तीसगढ़ की संगीता राजगोपालन ने बेडमिंटन और टेनिस में छह पदक जीता। इनमें पांच स्वर्ण और एक रजत पदक शामिल हैं। श्री सत्यप्रकाश मसीह ने वेटलिफ्टिंग में तीन स्वर्ण, श्री संजय शुक्ला ने टेनिस में तीन स्वर्ण, श्री आलोक तिवारी ने टेनिस में तीन स्वर्ण, धावक श्री सुखनंदन ध्रुव ने तीन स्वर्ण, श्री तेजासिंह साहू ने वेटलिफ्टिंग में दो स्वर्ण तथा श्री केनिमेच्यो ने टेनिस में दो स्वर्ण पदक प्राप्त किए। इनके अलावा अन्य खिलाड़ियों ने भी पदक जीते हैं। उल्लेखनीय है कि छत्तीसगढ़ को पिछले साल 2007 में भी इस प्रतियोगिता के चैम्पियन बनने का गौरव प्राप्त हुआ था।

Chhattisgarh Sports picture, Chhattisgarh game's arena mainly comprise of people, organization and government. The ministry of sports and youth welfare, Government of Chhattisgarh under able leadership of Ms Lata Usendi, Minister looks after Chhattisgarh sports. No doubt the creation of Chhattisgarh state on 01 November 2000, as 26th state of India, has given miraculous boost to sports and games activities in Chhattisgarh.

Two types of broad category defines the sports in Chhattisgarh, first the traditional local sport and the second national and international sports. All types of games are pursued through sports organizations and educational institutes which are adequately supported and sponsored by Chhattisgarh Government.

The apex organization include Chhattisgarh Olympic Association. The Chhattisgarh government was keen to host Indian Premier League (IPL) matches while some other states denied and Dr Raman Singh, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh has offered security cover too. There was Chhattisgarh Marathon also hosted at Jagadalpur.

In Chhattisgarh indoor and outdoor games both are played and popular in public.
